Thinking back to my own engagement, I’m flooded with memories of planning and envisioning our special day. I know how much goes into making your wedding seem so dreamy and effortless. As your photographer, I’m committed to bringing your vision to life and documenting all the sweet moments that unfold between you and your loved ones. Years of working with incredible photographers and mentors has trained my eye and taught me to lean into the small details. Your partner’s expression as you walk down the aisle, your grandmother’s hands as she hugs you, the floral arrangements that you pinned for months come to life. Capturing your story is one of my greatest joys. It’s my hope that reliving your day through these photos will bring you that same overwhelming sense of joy, warmth, nostalgia, and happiness.

As much as I wish wedding planning was all love and romance, I know it can be a stressful process, especially when it comes to budgeting. To help my couples achieve their vision, I’ve structured my packages around different timelines and add-ons. That way, we can capture everything you want and leave out anything you’re not dying to have. All of my packages include planning calls, a custom timeline, and a digital gallery where you can view, share, or print your photos.

craft your perfect day

Planning a full weekend bash? Invite me to the party! We’ll determine my specific hours based on your festivities, but this package generally includes coverage for your welcome party, rehearsal dinner, and 8 hours on the wedding day. This package occasionally requires an additional travel cost.

If you’re having a long reception, plan on having an afterparty, or want me to arrive earlier in the day, then booking 10 hours is the way to go. Plus, this allows more time to soak in the moment and enjoy your special day with ease.

This is the most popular choice for my couples! This coverage allows enough time for me to capture every moment, from getting ready to your grand exit.

This timeline will allow me to capture the full picture of your small wedding or elopement, including big moments, sweet interactions, and small details.

Perfect for small weddings and elopements, my four-hour package is enough to capture the big moments of your special day.

Photographer's note

I’ve put together these tips to help you and your partner determine what moments mean the most to you. Maybe it’s this short-lived season of being fiancés; let’s schedule an engagement session. Maybe it’s documenting the wedding veil passed down from your mother; plan on taking bridal portraits. Perhaps it’s spending time together before walking down the aisle; consider having a first look. However you imagine your day, I’m here to make it happen, with a grateful heart and camera in hand.

When you think back on this time, it will always feel special. Having full photo galleries to flip through adds another layer of meaning not only for yourself but also for your family and future generations. Years from now, you won’t have to describe your love, because they’ll see it written all over your faces in these photos. You won’t have to explain the detailing on your dress, the excitement of two fiancés months before the wedding, or how your worlds collided as guests met and hugged at cocktail hour. With some intentional, heart-led planning, all of these precious moments can be preserved forever.

Many couples find it tricky to determine how many hours of coverage they want. To help you decide which package is best aligned with your wedding day, I’m sharing some sample timelines with various hours of coverage. Remember, these are just examples, and many factors, like whether you do first looks or add a second shooter, can impact your wedding-day timeline. Time of year is also a big factor. Here in 30A, the sun sets at 7 in the summer and 5 in the winter, so we’ll want to plan your photos accordingly!

ch. 2

If you’re scouring the internet for advice or, heck, plucking petals to decide (do a first look, don’t do a first look…), then this one’s for you. First and foremost, your wedding day should feel true to you and your partner at every turn. If you have a gut feeling, I encourage you to stick with it.

Now for my two cents: I’m pro-first look, but, spoiler, my reasoning has nothing to do with photos and everything to do with time.

By seeing each other before the ceremony, you’re able to spend more time truly present together. Any married couple will tell you that their wedding day sped by, so any extra time together is meaningful.

FIRST LOOKS

Plus, this time means you can comfortably take couple, wedding party, and immediate family portraits before the ceremony. That leaves time to enjoy each other’s company, take more photos as newlyweds, or join your guests at cocktail hour. If you decide to forgo a first look, we will absolutely make it work, but timing will be tight.

I promise, when you opt for a first look, the emotions will still rush to the surface as you walk down the aisle, your partner will still look at you in awe, and your heart will flutter just the same. And on a day that goes by in the blink of an eye, that extra time together is everything.

ch. 3

There’s something so special about being able to document your engagement and your wedding day. Selfishly, I’m able to get to know you better, hear your story, and share in your love. Call me a romantic, but I truly believe there’s nothing like this season you’re in. Your engagement is such a blip in time, and it deserves to be documented. Years from now, you’ll be grateful that you can look back on your young love, frozen in these photographs.

engagement sessions

The Practical Benefits
  • Taking professional photos in a more casual environment will ease your nerves and make you feel confident in front of the camera.
  • We’ll figure out how much direction and posing guidance you want, while still keeping things natural and organic.
  • You’ll have plenty of photos for planning: think save-the-dates, invites, your website, your guest book, and more. Just allow 2 weeks for editing and time for printing.

My Quick Tips
  • Choose a location that’s meaningful to you, like your favorite beach or first date spot.
  • Brides: Schedule your hair, makeup, and spray-tan trials for our photo shoot day!
  • Turn your shoot into a date night, celebrating every little milestone as fiancés.
  • For wardrobe, choose complementary (not matching) colors and avoid busy patterns.

ch. 4

The bride is always center of attention, but that doesn’t mean we get a full hour to photograph your dress and all the details that make it so perfectly you. Hence my love for bridal portraits. We get to slow down and document your perfect dress. The way your veil catches the light, how your train swoops so elegantly, the dainty embroidery that mimics the florals on your wedding moodboard.

Most brides only wear their dress once, but taking bridals lets you squeeze in an extra wear. You can make your session even more special by bringing along a loved one, like your mom or best friend, who stood by your side as you found the dress. This is also a great time to trial your hair and makeup.

bridal portraits

ch. 5

A second photographer isn’t always necessary,  and I have plenty of experience shooting solo. But if we were going to cut to the chase, I’d tell you that a second photographer means more photos, more coverage, and more moments captured.

Your gallery will be more well-rounded with multiple locations and perspectives: the big moments and the reactions. The bride walking down the aisle and her partner beaming at the altar. Your first dance as newlyweds and the tears welling in your parents’ eyes from the sidelines. College friends reuniting at cocktail hour and your perfectly planned reception details. If preserving all of these moments is important to you, then a second photographer is essential.

second photographer

You should consider a second photographer if…
  • You and your fiancé are getting ready in different locations
  • Your ceremony and reception are being held at different venues
  • You want your reception space photographed before guests arrive
  • You want photos of the groom getting ready
  • You want multiple angles of your ceremony, first look, or other big moments
  • You love candid reactions and don’t want to miss what your family, friends, and guests are experiencing throughout the day
  • You have a large guest count
  • You are planning special moments like surprise dances, performances, private vows
  • You value having as much of your wedding story documented as possible

  • For wardrobe, choose complementary (not matchy-matchy) colors and avoid busy patterns so the spotlight stays on your love.

Engagement sessions

ch. 3

The bride is always the center of attention, but that doesn’t mean we get a full hour to photograph your dress and all the details that make it so perfectly you.

Bridal portrait

ch. 4
